It's really cool to see this more "traditional" kind of dance that you'd see at fancy, artsy shows but in a fursuit. Two worlds colliding in an interesting way. I looked at their other videos, too, and they're a very talented fursuit dancer! I'd be stumbling over my tail all the time. Thank you for sharing this here :3

Don't mention it. Still feeling a bit self conscious about all the downvotes though. I get that it's not everyone on All's cup of tea, but I expected it to end up at least somewhat positive.

I went through a similar issue for a while as my NSFW tastes can be... different even if the posts did fit the communities I posted to.

I don't know where the down votes come from, There's nothing wrong with this post and it I'd say its posted to the right place. Based on the vote performance here I'm surprised my post didn't get the downvotes. From a pure quality perspective my post is a poor quality camera from a crowd. You can find his performance from this year as a much better quality.

For the downvotes, the only reason I can come to beyond its just furry, maybe people were expecting the high energy dancing and pop like songs you get at competitions. I still haven't quite figured out what folks here like.

It feels like YouTube videos get way less engagement on Lemmy (and Reddit) than all other types of post, including embedded videos. I have ~*~theories~*~ about why that is the case, but what it boils down to is that they get fewer upvotes because fewer people watch them (compared to the number of people who look at image posts or watch embedded videos), and maybe this one caught a bunch of downvotes from All simply because it's a furry video.

offers hug :3
