The Bookclub and Cinema Space

Ever read a book and have no one to talk to about it? Here is a place you can!

This is a digital bookclub to share personal favorites to a wide audience.

Feel free to share passages, underlinings, and marginalia. Do you have notes? It can be fun to share how you interacted with a text though mnemonic and attentive markings. Did you write or produce art in memory of a good book? Also welcome to share. The point is to keep good books alive in mind.

Some books are utterly obscure while others are well-known classics. Both are welcome here. Visitors would have more to say about the familiar but you also have the opportunity to inform others about the unfamiliar.

If you also are interested in intellectually stimulating and quality film, you can also share here since a really good movie shows like a masterful narrative.

Enjoy!

The chapter late in the novel asking if history is best understood in terms of the actions of Great Men of the sum whole of nations is very interesting. The book is full of memorable meditations that will stick with you for years. https://kasmana.people.charleston.edu/MATHFICT/mfview.php?callnumber=mf117
