Be nice to crows. They remember who was mean to them and they'll shit on your car because of it.

A few months ago I was in the car with my wife and we were driving home. About ten yards in front of us was one of our neighbours. As we were driving up the street, about two dozen crows were taking it in turns dive bombing her car, in groups of about five of six, but not one of them came near us.

We regularly put bird food out, and we couldn't help wondering if she'd done something to upset them.

I believe squirrels can as well.

We lived in a wooded area and the squirrels would chitter at us.

But they had a different call if one of the cats was outside, and they had a third call if multiple cats were outside.
