I tried to subscribe to 18+ magazine from outside of kbin.run instance, but they wont load. Local search for 18+ magazines shows 0 results. Does this mean that kbin.run has a policy against such content, or is this some sort of an oversight?

Hmm, do you have the "Hide NSFW content" setting enabled in your profile (picture attached)? Otherwise NSFW should load just fine. If it's a magazine that hasn't been subscribed to by any other kbin.run user, then it might take a few iterations of federation to take place before any content starts appearing after subscribing. You should see a banner at the top of the magazine warning of lack of subscribers/content if so.

The only NSFW policy I have in place is that NSFW content must be tagged 18+ and comply with all US laws.

Ah, removing "hide nsfw content" checkmark helped. I had to miss it when setting up my profile. Thanks for your help

Thanks for asking the question! I hadn't looked at my Appearance page, and wasn't getting notices to 'new posts in a magazine I'm subscribed to'. LoL, turns out that settings page has some useful options, which one can apply once one knows about them. :-D
