The protesters against the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza have been demanding that universities cut financial and academic ties with Israeli firms and institutions.
I still haven't figured out what sort of financial ties a college in Canada would even have with... Well, anything in the middle east. Even foreign student tuition would have been converted to Canadian dollars by federal currency exchange beforehand. I think?
