MODERATORS

This is a great tool to overwrite your posts with random words and a link to get others to consider doing so as well.

Once my comments are all gone, I'm gonna delete the posts too.

EDIT: ...and I'm perma-banned :) They didn't like me mentioning lemmy.whynotdrs.org in my farewell blurbs.

congrats! I still haven't gotten a SuperStonk ban, it almost feels like a badge of honour. Soon perhaps.

Hah, thanks I guess ... I wasn't planning to get banned... but now that it happened it does in fact feel kinda good :)

I am considering going nuclear now and DMing the top posters in the original GMECanada sub, inviting them over here explicitly. I'd bet the reddit-wide admins would drop the hammer though. It depends how panicky they are about users leaving the whole site in general. I'm sure they're monitoring DMs across the site to see if users or mods are discussing fleeing the platform...

I think as long as you don't have a spike of outbound messages on one day, it's unlikely to get on their radar. Slow and steady wins the race

I have managed to drop the "Lemmy" word in a few comments so far without the ban hammer coming out, but I haven't been too overt about it.

It's specifically the keywords whydrs and whynodrs (.org) AFAIK.

I log into Reddit using my google credentials, but there is no Google option with Redact.

Has anyone found a workaround?
