Add far as I know, there is not currently a way to follow individual users in Lemmy (no matter which platform they are on), you can only follow communities. That is also the reason that you can't follow Mastodon accounts

Ah that does make sense! I knew you couldn't follow accounts but didn't put two and two together. Maybe in the future..
But also I can't find a way to subscribe to Pixelfed on lemmy.world?
