Seriously, I have an ancient HydroVong, 3Ms from different years and finally splurged on the Omni. I fully expected cosmic levels of performance from that puppy…& so far it feels like the weakest link. Hydro and 2019M hit stronger. Anyway, just had to ask. Cheers and happy

I mean I can't comment on modern Omni's. I still have a first-gen Omnivap and I feel like it still hits nice.

The only real reason to upgrade to the omni (in my book) aside from the titanium body, is the fact that it has an adjustable carb piece so you can customize your optimal heat/air ratio without constantly fiddling with the air intake hole.

Although I'll admit - I need to disassemble and clean my old omni - it's not moving the carb adjustment piece the way it should anymore.

And therein lies my main beef with mine; the adjustable carb doesn’t work for shit, compared to manual, digit delivered airflow of my others (yeah, have five, almost bought a 2023 last night).

Guess it’s time for disassembly and inspection, which is disappointing, since the others “just worked” outta the box.

Yeah I dunno - mine worked great for years. But I stopped using it and now the carb isn't moving. It's probably gunked up or something.

I hang onto mine because it's an OG Omni that I scored for less than $100, so I can't complain.

I love the hydrovong and dread the day when I spot a crack...on to the omnis I think that was the beauty of the Ms you got 98% of the experience. The Omni had the set and forget airport if you were too lazy to flutter and some real fine machine work, which again watered down to the Ms design over the years. Titanium isn't gonna bless your weed with the power of the cosmos unfortunately... but I do find that the titanium tips perform better for strong rips if you aim the torch lower near the base.
