Should we try to use a different service for uploading images, or is it ok to use the native uploader? (lemmy.antemeridiem.xyz)

Idk if it would make a significant difference or not, but i know i post memes occasionally and i realized i might be causing excess strain on your server, so i wanted to see if you had any thoughts

It's better to use an external service like imgur or something similar, as I have a limited space on my server at the end of the day. It shouldn't be much of a problem if you upload files from time to time though.
