Apparently there were two valid guesses on the last guess, and I picked the wrong one.
Oh no! My new theory is that while R and T are the two most common letters in the game, it's a mistake to play them in your starting word because they can trap you in several different ways. If your third guess or fifth guess had come back โฌ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฉ, you'd have been in bad shape there too. Your remaining guesses were great, but luck didn't go your way.
Using those two is definitely a bad strategy. But at this point I'm committed to it until I get it. My last starting word was PIANO, which was great. But I eventually got it as the word of the day.
