I cut this stone a few weeks ago for my daughter who wanted a triangular stone that could be set into a ring. I'd never had the opportunity to cut a trillion before, so this was fun.

Your daughter is a lucky girl! My engagement ring has a white topaz cut like this. It is set point down and off to the side a little bit. It has two small diamond set to the right so the whole setting looks like a sea shell.

haha - This is also called a trilliant or trillian ... a cross between a tri-angle and a bri-lliant cut.
