Ath-a900x art Japan import, it's literally the best cans i have and testing higher end ones don't really do better. It fits my flavor profile just right. Also can't listen to lossy sources because you can hear the muddyness compared to lossless. So you win some but lose some (no Spotify 😔 i can't stand it)
ZMF Atticus, which is one of their “cheaper” closed cans. Got it to use at work in late 2019 and ended going remote-only since March 2020. Oh well, still great headphones though.

I have the Beyerdynamic 1990 Pros and the Fostex TH-900. I used to try and use each based on the music I would listen to but I find myself just using the Fostex all the time minus classical music.
I know the Fostex are not everyone’s cup of tea but I just think they’re so fun. I like bass and boy do they pack a punch!
AKG K712 at home and Focal Bathys out and about. Just took my first flight with the Focals and they were perfect…solid ANC and sound.
