I don’t really care what standard we use as long as we pick one!
The NACS physical connector is definitely sleeker, and it sounds like it uses the CCS protocols anyway. I just hope that drivers of older Chevy/Ford vehicles either get an adapter or retrofit kit.
I would love one standard. NACS is nice and compact so I will gladly take that as the standard.
It means I might have to carry an adapter for a bit and have my car's charging wiring updated. I honestly don't care too much as long as it's a real standard.
As owner of an F150L it make me wonder of there will be a retrofit kit to just change the cars plug. It is not 100 percent yet but I think CCS is dead in North America.
