I've got burn in from Spotify being left up 10-30 min twice a day during most week days... I've read the pixel phone help doc with no solution available... I was wondering if I could do something to fix it myself or do I need to contact Google?

It's pretty mild. It's just the pause button, previous/forward, and the progress bar. With the pause button being most noticeable.

Screen burn in is fairly rare these days, try cycling different colors on the LCD.

OLED is more susceptible to burn in than LCD or other types of displays in use today.

It works in a different way, because of that burn in on oled is quite common and this yt film won't fix it in any way.

Oh neat! How does OLED burn in happen?

I don't know why people are downvoting you for asking valid questions and trying to learn. Fuck those reddit assholes.

I can't speak for Google but Samsung replaced two S20 screens under warranty for burn in.

I would recommend not leaving spotify with the screen on to start... could try leaving an all white screen on max brightness for 5 minutes and see if that helps?
