I saw this post about how kbin.social is now federating: https://reddthat.com/post/32223

When I click the example link provided there, [email protected] I get an error message.

404: couldnt_find_community

What am I doing wrong? I'd like to subscribe to some communities over there if possible.

Did you figure it out? https://reddthat.com/c/[email protected] seems to be working now :)

Most of the time you have to "search" for the community with the url [email protected] and then it will show up in the "All" section when viewing communities

Yep it works now, thanks! Not sure what changed. I'm not doing anything differently and it just started working. Maybe something on kbin's end.

That's good!

It takes a good 5-10 seconds usually to federate for the first time, but you can't just click on the link, you have to search for it first and then it will show up in All

Okay, still working my way through this. It's possible I'm just not understanding how federating works still.

I want to subscribe to [email protected] next. I can see it just fine when I go here: https://reddthat.com/c/[email protected]. But most of the posts are missing. I only see 3 total all time, but this is one of the most active communities on kbin. There should be many posts there including some from today. What's going on this time?

Appreciate your assistance. This is all very new to me.
