It might be me making a one-off VM snapshot before possibly fucking everything up.

I dunno how I got here, but protip- put nice -n 30 before any command like this. It will make it lower priority so that your lemmy instance gets all the CPU it needs before giving whatever command you're running more resources.

I do this when backing up my DB and pict-rs.

Ooooh that's a good idea when doing those though the command line. Wonder if there's a way to do something similar with Proxmox at the VM snapshot level
