It's made a big deal that whales have a specialized version of adipose tissue called blubber that apparently has a greater amount of blood vessels and is thicker than normal adipose. But, is blubber 100% of the adipose tissue content of whales, such as blue whales, sperm whales, and Beluga whales, or do whales also have regular adipose tissue?
