I don't think I'll get over this season for a while... whichever way it ends up going.

5 points improvement, this has been an A- season.

5 points improvement, while improving upon our record vs City home and away, while also moving from the EL to the CL. Massive improvement across the board.

I actually did not expect us to be in this form at the beginning of the season. One is to curb expectations, two we had that weird period of fitting in new pieces. You never know how quickly new additions can make adjustments and fit into our game...and yeah this season exceeds all expectations.

I know it's futile to go down the "what ifs" road, but imagine if Timber hadn't missed the entire season. The entire LB conversation becomes so much easier, and we possibly don't have our hiccup in December.

But at the very least, Havertz's integration is a triumph.

I'm actually most surprised at how Kiwior slotted in as understudy at times. He needs more refining but oh my god if our entire backline is fit? That's the rotation that we need.

I'm hoping they'll address Benny's injury this summer though, him playing through the pain is something that shouldn't happen.

That's true! Kiwior has really improved this season, and I think most of us didn't expect him to do anything but flounder as a backup.

In the same vein, I really hope Jesus gets his surgery and comes back at 100%. I just want to see him doing his little dance, one more time.

And as long as we're wishing for things, Santi to come back and win the league with us.
