Lemmy.world sync time is really bad...[Any problems on my end or is this a server problem?] (lemmy.ml)

I am looking at communities I am trying to follow on lemmy.world.

On lemmy.world account it shows a post was added 2hrs ago.

On lemmy.ml it shows that a post was added 2 months ago...

Hmm, lemmy.ml is lagging a bit from lemmy.world, but not that much to explain 2 months delay

It seems it may be sync problems betwen servers.

I was looking through lemmy.world account and it seems lemmy.ml communities are also not syncing up in some cases as well.

So just community lag or something else...

Some communities do not show up as well...on both sides though.

It seems communities are the ones not syncing up, it may be due to less people on these communites, the bigger ones are good.

Despite being an admin I’m not expert on this, but from what I’ve been told, a community on instance A won’t sync with instance B unless there is at least one user on instance B who is a member of that instance A community. And so the smaller a community is, the more likely this will happen.

It's fine for me. Sometimes it lags, but a refresh fixes it.
