The best vacations are the ones where I turn airplane mode on. My phone is only on for pictures and videos at that point. If you're paying to be somewhere, you should be present and make the most of it. Otherwise, why not just staycation it? For the record, I also love those.

I do this all the time with camping trips. Way to far away from cell towers and radio signals to post anything.

Just take some occasional pics with family and surroundings and enjoy the vacation.

Make it a memory not a post that needs to be liked by "followers".

If I got offered a free vacation? somewhere in Alaska and I'd never post pictures that could potentially lead to revealing my real identity online anyway
