I have an old cube. It only says "Dayan" in it. It is not horrible, but it is not great. I want something more recent.

It has to be budget, I don't want to spend too much just yet. Specially since I don't even know how to solve without having the algorithms in front of me haha.. I need to memorize them!

I was considering a Moyu RS3M Super. From a review I've seen on youtube, the standard/cheaper version was even prefered to the others.

Do you have any suggestions?

RS3M is great! Moyu is generally my favorite brand, and I've used their WRM, but the RS3M is pretty much almost the same. A lot of people do prefer it to the WRM, it depends on the turning styles.

There is the RS3M and the Super RS3M though. And within these, there are like 3 different versions, the standard, maglev and ball..

Yeah unfortunately it gets confusing. I haven't tried any of the new ones. I'd say for budget, I'd go with standard. I like the idea of maglev, and I bought the previous gen WRM maglev, but it's just sitting collecting dust because it feels quite strange to turn (the cube is heavy due to the magnets but the turning is so light). I've heard good things about ballcore but I haven't tried it.

I totally recommend the Moyu RS3M Super! It has a nice numerical clicking tension adjustment mechanism that allows you to customize your hand-feel with ease, while ensuring every face is adjusted the same. It has a high-quality feeling to its turns and the magnets are just right. I say go for it!

Which version do you recommend? Because they have 3 versions IIRC.. Is the cheaper one (magnetic version) ok?

I really liked the old 2020 RS3M, which didn't have maglev or a ball core, but when I got the new Super version I got the deluxe model. I'm sure any RS3M you get will be great, though.
