For specifics I have made posts in gardening and guitar community.
The lemmy.world and asklemmy community have been great for more general discussion.
I'm still finding my home. But so far my experience has been superb and superior to reddit ftmp.
i like following the admins around. they're almost all fairly friendly people and i'm right into the whole building-it-so-they-will-come part of developing infrastructure
