I sent my son "Raining Blood" through text this morning, first thing. I spent all morning listening to that playlist, great way to end a friggin tough week.

Marcy Playground - All the Lights Went Out
This album has been a huge comfort album for me over the last few weeks. It really toes the line of alt rock and grunge. Some very impactful lyrics, some playfulness. All around a great album to explore.
Love this, thank you for posting! I pinned it for visibility.
Personally, I'm playing Pink's That's All I Know So Far on repeat. It's so raw, and I definitely feel like I'm "proud of my skin full of scars" after years of living in denial and learned helplessness.
I wish someone would have told me that this darkness comes and goes
People will pretend but baby girl, nobody knows
And even I can't teach you how to fly
But I can show you how to live like your life is on the line
