I've been keeping up with the manga, it's dumb fun. Happy to see it has an anime this season.

And it's getting a dub! The dumb manga with the rabbit girl who dresses like a playboy bunny and really likes the protagonist's carrots is getting a dub. What world do we live in?

I just watched the first two episodes. It's a pretty unabashed power fantasy with somewhat uninspiring animation, but I don't hate it. Stuff is happening, our MC is relatable, our MC and friends are happy. I'll probably keep watching.

Not a big fan of how the anime executes its concept so far.
The idea of someone being stuck at level 1, but having greatly increased loot drops is definitely an interesting start for an Isekai mechanic. You could make a story out of it where the protagonist has to sidestep the levelprogression in order to pull their weight, something like hiring mercenaries who let him do the last hit, or setting traps and dealing with monsters in the most creative ways.
But this anime just hands the MC the solution to his levelproblem in the very first episode, in the form of a dungeon where he can farm stat increases. And then it even skips over the majority of that.

It's really just a powerfantasy with no proper thought behind it.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. Just watched Episode 3. He gets a freaking gun. Forget anything I said, this is an unashamed powerfantasy, not pretending to be anything more. Can't even be mad at that.
