Hi ! I work in image processing for clinical trials.
wow that's cool. What imaging modalities do you work with most? What educational background is appropriate for this kind of work?
I mostly work with MR, with some X-ray, PET, CT and the occasional ultrasound. I work in many different therapeutic areas, so it varies.
I'm an engineer but learned most of what I need for my job during my PhD in medical image processing. In any case, you need both a strong math / image processing background and an interest for medical stuff, for example a decent knowledge of anatomy.
