A place about coffee for coffee people. An alternate home for the Specialty Coffee weirdos and normal folks alike, united by a shared passion for coffee. This is a space for folks from industry insiders to casual consumers and everyone else in between.

(Either actually in your travel kit, or else in your dream setup!)

You're going on a trip: while nothing's certain on the road, one thing you need is good coffee. What do you pack to ensure you can always brew a good cup no matter what?

Difficulty level: assume there's easy access to appropriately-hot water wherever you are.

My travel kit matches the kind of travel we tend to do, so there is that limitation;

I have a double-wide milk crate for transport. In the crate goes my Vario, scale, Clever, box of filters, and a bag or two of coffee. Generally the extra space in the crate winds up holding kitchen shit like knives and herbs/spices, as well as various teas for my wife.

Mine is Timemore C2 Max, Aeropress with Prismo and Timemore scale. Bring minimal coffee and buy from local roasters along the way. This assumes the places I stay have a kettle which has been the case to date
