Just a suggestion: since this is a news community, a more descriptive title might be better.
Linux and Tech News
This is where all the News about Linux and Linux adjacent things goes. We'll use some of the articles here for the show! You can watch or listen at:
You can also get involved at our forum here on Lemmy:
Or just get the most recent episode of the show here:
I just use the site titles and this one was… less than descriptive. I’ll keep an eye out in the future 😉
(Sorry for the double post. It looked like it posted in the wrong community?) 🤷
Yeah, in cases like this I tend to add the subtitle or make a quick description myself. I used to post a lot of news on Reddit. The official title was always preferred but also not always particularly good.
Digging deeper, I've noticed something interesting. In Lemmy on the web, there is a little + icon next to almost all titles in c/news and when pressed, does indeed show the subtitle of the post. For this post, it reads: "Let's talk about our plans for Wayland support for Budgie Desktop and the work we are doing to make it a reality."
Now, on Memmy, my mobile client, that isn't an option, or at least, I can't figure out how to get there. Possibly not implemented yet with most of these mobile apps being so new.
Either way, just something I noticed and was pleased about.
