The first season of the anime adaptation can be found on Netflix. Season 2 is confirmed and presumably currently in production.

DO NOT SPOIL THE ANIME WATCHERS

This is so that the anime watchers can sub to the community without worry of seeing posts that would spoil later parts of the story. This includes manga pages and panels, mentioning characters, fanart, etc.

Parent instance rules also apply, of course.

.world's federation let you down.

This didn't make it to ani.social and other instances, so it seems almost no-one got to see it.

I can't wait to be able to do Izutsumiposts.

I'm able to see it just fine now

Ah nuts, I'm still not entirely clear on how federation works especially with communities I'm subscribed to so not sure what I can even do about this

You can't really do anything. It's a problem caused by .world being so huge it can't keep up with syncing everything.

It's federated now, but it took hours, and when posts federate late the time passed will place them way down the feed.

You can either hope .world figures out their infrastructure, or hop to another smaller instance. That won't entirely solve the problem as a lot of stuff is on .world so you'll still interact with it.

Yeah, this latest batch of federation delays seems to be a series of bugs interacting with each other. However, the primary cause seems to be a bug in kbin in which it is flooding out tons and tons of activities (votes, downvotes, follows, etc.) repeatedly, seemingly stuck in a loop (relevant post from an .nz instance admin). The world admins put a filter in place on their firewall to block it a couple hours ago and the federation seems to be catching back up. I just checked and right now ani.social is 4.5 hours behind world, down from a peak of 11.5. Due to a different, unrelated lemmy issue, small increases in latency to the world instance server (located in Finland) can cause much slower federation (relevant github issue). So, instances located close by in the EU seem to have been able to handle this better than other regions.
