Anybody can post a challenge.

The rules of the game are simple, take any song you like from any genre you want, put the lyrics through any AI [you may weight lyrics as the AI allows] that you want and post the resulting image here under the post title Name That Song [GENRE]. After 48-72 Hours or if the answer is guessed sooner, edit the post's title to [Solved][Genre] and put the song title and artist (and optionally any highlighted lyrics) in a spoiler tag in the body of the post.

Other than that, enjoy.

Here is a list to a few AI image generators you can use.

Solved by @[email protected], the song is "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" which is probably best known for the 1941 version by The Ink Spots that is used in Fallout games.

Thanks for playing!

No, sorry. Here's a hint: your song was released in 1983, my song was released just over 40 years earlier.

A good guess, but the song was "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" and was guessed by someone.

Correct, well played! You are the winner!

Sorry, no. Here's a hint: the narrator of your song is the fire, the narrator of my song is only capable of starting fire.

Great song though!

Dammit! I always forget the ink spots!

Girl On Fire by Alicia Keys

Sorry, no. Here's a hint: the version of your song that is the most widely known is performed by the lead songwriter of the song; the songwriters of my song did not record any notable release but is instead well known through several popular covers, one arguably more than others.

I really wasn't expecting to be right, but I just guess that song because the chorus from that song popped in my head when I saw your image

I really like your style of hints 🙂 I hope you do more posts

Girl On Fire by Alicia Keys

It was a good guess and could definitely fit the lyrics of that song as well (also just have to mention that Alicia Keys' voice on it is amazing as always).

Thanks! In the old times I used to go to guessing game subreddits and it was like the rules and reply-to-comment-with-clue-but-don't-make-it-too-easy structure kicked back in after all this time. I'll definitely try to do more!

Sorry, no. Here's a hint: your song was written by one person, my song was written by four people.

"Heart of Gold" Neil Young?

No, sorry. Fantastic song though, here's a hint: Both of our songs have more than three notable covers, though your song is far more impressive in both the amount of notable covers that have been released and the roster of talent covering the song.

Okay, crazy guess based off of a single line and some of your clues:

The four tops, "I can't help myself (sugar pie, honey bunch)"

The four tops, “I can’t help myself (sugar pie, honey bunch)

A good guess (and a bop)! The song however was "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" (1941) and was guessed by someone.
