I hate those ads too. While some people may find some medicinal or comfort or whatever value in those gummies, they are not a cure for anything.

PARTNERED COMMUNITIES
Aaargh. THIS is why I'm DONE with Reddit.
I'm on a Discord which links to r/dementia, and IFTTT links to new r/dementia posts. (So I can see what gets posted but don't have to favor Reddit with my traffic).
Recent post on r/dementia was an article clip: https://cannabis.net/blog/news/son-creates-thcinfused-lemonade-to-help-his-mother-with-earlyonset-alzheimers-symptoms
NO, dag-nabnit (or stronger curse-words, if you prefer), THC is NOT a cure for Alzheimer's, not a responsible way to ameliorate symptoms. Dosing people with dementia with psychoactives, without any medical consultation just because you "know a little" about weed, is stupid, dangerous, totally messed up. Pharmaceuticals act very differently in brains with dementia than they do in brains without dementia. I've had a front-row seat to the difference.
And yeah, the article with this f####d up advice is on a commercial site. Doesn't sell THC (yet) as that ain't legal, but they sell paraphenalia.
What the blank were the r/dementia mods thinking letting that post through?????
