I have to say I am very excited to be jumping back in to the mission impossible-verse! Promising to deliver wild stunts and a fun thrilling plot. These movies are a joy to watch. You won't be studying these in film school any time soon (probably), but I am looking forward to a good time.

Yes I very much unironically enjoy all the MI films. Maybe except the 2nd one. They’re always a good time and say what you will about Tom Cruise and his wacko craziness, but the man’s just so charismatic and fun to watch.

Not a big fan of the Church of Scientology, but that's his private life. Professionally I have a lot of respect for him, doing most of the crazy stunts himself - insane!

With you there. I'm amazed that 2&3 didn't kill the franchise, but the rest of them are great.

Just got back from the theater, and boy was it a fun spectacle. A very enjoyable watch if you are fan of the series.

I loved the first one - they lost me with the new stuff but my partner is dragging me to go :D

I get that too, the second and third film were pretty much garbage, but I can appreciate the craft for this style of film in the last few. Not a scholarly watch though. 🤣
