Less serious posts should go in [email protected] or [email protected]
More serious politics should go in [email protected].

Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Although not very handy for me because I live in the midlands. I didn't want to see it anyway. Nope. Looks like another evening of sitting on social media and regretting my life choices. Sigh.

Hah! That's an accurate UK eclipse map!

Just like 1999.

I was on holiday in Munich for that eclipse. It was badly overcast there too. When the full eclipse hit in it got really dark so everybody was screaming and yelling at the sky in the park we were in so at least it was a bit of an event.

I'm also in the Midlands, so I won't see it either.
I was in Cornwall for the '99 eclipse and I didn't see that one as well so at least I'm keeping up with tradition.
