The Lyrics Game

Anybody can post a challenge.

The rules of the game are simple, take any song you like from any genre you want, put the lyrics through any AI [you may weight lyrics as the AI allows] that you want and post the resulting image here under the post title Name That Song [GENRE]. After 48-72 Hours or if the answer is guessed sooner, edit the post's title to [Solved][Genre] and put the song title and artist (and optionally any highlighted lyrics) in a spoiler tag in the body of the post.

Other than that, enjoy.

Here is a list to a few AI image generators you can use.

TestWorks in the body though! Maybe that's a solution?

Edit: I tried and couldn't get it to work in the title. But as shown above it works in the post body.

Original body text: I don't know if it's a limitation or not, but adding the song title behind a spoiler tag would allow people late to the game to still try and guess before seeing the answer.

As far as I know it's a limitation of lemmy. I'd definitely go for it if it worked. Give it a try and see. Here are the tags "

spoiler

That's a good idea, I never thought to test it myself! I get an error that's it's an invalid post title so it might just be a Lemmy limitation which is too bad.

Yes please something like this! I only just realized that when it gets solved the title becomes a spoiler. So now I can only guess ones that haven't been answered... I'd love to scroll through the back catalog and play on my own.

From my testing the easiest way to get this working is a rule change that the title would instead be added in a spoiler tag in the body instead of the title.

A number of apps do not yet handle spoiler tags at all.

It would still be better in the body, rather than title imo. Then you don't see the answer right away when you're scrolling through posts
