Finally a big chunk play! Renegades look so much better on offense than they did last year. And a successful 2 pt conversion, too!

The comment I was writing when that happened was I'm curious about that "tru line measurement" thing. I wonder if it's photogrammetrically calculated from the different cameras or if they just make it up

That last Corral pass very nearly hit the drone. If they're going to fly it that recklessly I imagine it will happen at some point, and I wonder if that down should count. I guess it would be handled like when the ball hits a ref though

Man, Birmingham is really rolling. They were off to a slow start but it's now clear why they were the preseason favorite

And first game is in the books. GG Birmingham!

Ooof, turnover... would like to see the replay if his arm was moving forward though

yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Expecting to see the replay, but it went to commercial instead :( I feel like replay was a big deal for last year's XFL broadcast. I wonder if they're taking a page from '23 CFB and intentionally skipping replays for commercial time.

I'm hoping it's just because it's the first quarter of the first game of a new league. There was a lot of wasted air at the top of the hour they have to squeeze in commercials when they can to make up for.

Or maybe it's just a Fox thing (I didn't watch USFL) and ESPN will stick with what they did with the XFL

Well, at least they were nice enough to return the favor lol

Great field position on the opening kick! But the broadcast so far leaves a little to be desired, particularly in the audio mixing department... great to have Klatt on the call though

The best thing about that Stallions drive coming to an end is not the awesome INT but that it puts us out of our misery of having Dany and Dwayne in the broadcast booth. I appreciate their commitment to the league, but everything they say is just meaningless buzzwords
