TPLO, or tibial-plateau-leveling osteotomy, is a surgery performed on dogs to stabilize the stifle joint after ruptures of the cranial cruciate ligament (analogous to the anterior cruciate ligament [ACL] in humans, and sometimes colloquially called the same).

The purpose of this community is to provide a place for discussion on the topic.

My dog is currently going through his second TPLO surgery (doing great!) and I really wanted a place to vent or talk that wasn't reddit or facebook. I decided to create this community to give a place for other people to let them know that others are going through this too and they aren't alone.
