This awful spammer already has 1.4k spam comments. Somebody needs to ban them before the Fediverse drowns in spam.

There needs to be a global limit to how many posts an account can post per time. And that limit should be even lower for accounts that are new or have few previous posts.

Is that the dude that was spamming the weird Simpsons character and the black guy?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 7 months ago (1 children)

The popular and well-adjusted user who is spamming those images, yes.

The Black man: George Floyd.

George Perry Floyd Jr. (October 14, 1973 – May 25, 2020) was a Black-American man who was murdered by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest made after a store clerk suspected Floyd may have used a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill, on May 25, 2020. Derek Chauvin, one of the four police officers who arrived on the scene, knelt on Floyd's neck and back for 9 minutes and 29 seconds which caused a lack of oxygen. After his murder, protests against police brutality, especially towards black people, quickly spread across the United States and globally. His dying words, "I can't breathe", became a rallying slogan.

Ah I only skimmed past it I didn't really look at the guy. Still surprised I didn't recognize him.

A hero preparing us for future CSAM spammers & ban evaders?

No probably not.

Did you see if they have their own c/main on that instance?
