c/nerdgeist is a community space dedicated to sharing and discussing anything in the current "nerd zeitgeist". This could be movie casting news, new video game discussions, whacky theories about your favorite franchises, or just about anything that the modern nerdy person would enjoy or want to talk about.

My hope for this channel is that it becomes a hub for people to talk about the things that maybe are a harder to talk about IRL because folks may not have the same interests as you. It's a great feeling when you're pumped about something and you find someone else who is too! Lets make this a space where those feelings happen much more often.

Rules

  1. Be respectful - this is meant to be a positive space.
  2. Don't spam content or try to advertise your products or channels.
  3. If something is NSFW, mark as such.
  4. Know the channel will evolve with it's userbase and new rules may be added over time or current ones may be updated updated to help create the best community experience as possible.

This looks cool, and I have never feel attracted to superheroes animes to be honest (Marvel/DC).

I’m usually a little iffy about them too. The Batman anime comes to mind because it was interesting but not really that good - felt almost like a gimmick. This one seems to bringing on some really solid talent and the concept is fairly fresh so I wanna give it a chance.

I think that My Hero Academia being a hit means it’s possible for superhero anime to work if done well.

Yeah, that is why I clarified DC and Marvel SH, although I haven't watched My Hero Academia I'm aware it has a big fan community.

Hopefully this "new" concept is good!

BTW what Batman Anime do you mean? Batman Ninja?

Im talking about Batman Ninja, yeah!

By new concept I just mean that because its an isekai story it seems like it will mainly take place in some fantasy world instead of the typical DC universe and I think that could be interesting.

You are telling me Batman Ninja is not an isekai LMAO, that is even more odd.

No that still counts! This new thing is an actual series tho and we should be able actually spend some time in the alt universe.
