About

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis aspires to be the same kind of Autocrat despised by the founders of the United States. He must be exposed for what he is: a great threat to our Democratic Republic and American values. Republicans don't punish big businesses like the Walt Disney Company for disagreeing with them. Fascists do. DeSantis and those like him are a massive threat to our Democracy.

The Florida Governor has directed more than 250 officers and soldiers to the state's southern coast.

I'll grant we had a hella immigration spike on the Southern border, and it goes up year-by-year, but LOL my god, how many fucking Haitians are hitting the Florida coast?!

"Any blacks come over here trying to escape the gangs, drive 'em into the sea!" Which is literally what we do to Cubans. If they touch American soil, we have to begin asylum processes. DeSantis would rather drown them like kittens.

And 250 men is, "Look at us addressing the problem!". Break it down: Not like they're all working at once and 24/7. I'm certain the governor has seen a map. Just how many miles of coast does he expect <250 men to guard? That would cover a bay up here in NW Florida. Barely.

Oh, and what about support staff? Always more support behind the scenes than fighters. If he didn't send additional support, now he's got both sides pissed off.
