Ok, after writing the words down, they can all be prefixed w/ 'Grand' to form a new word (thanks [email protected]) - which would explain 'One Thousand,' but not sure how the word 'followers' applies

"Grand" is also colloquial for thousand. So those words are (Grand/one thousand) followers. What also got me was not realizing the yellow theme could be two words ...
