Is anyone else‘s front page flooded with Dutch posts? (lemmy.ml)

I just noticed that half my front page is just durch posts from the same 6 day old account… does anyone else also experience this and if so how do I stop it??? No hate against Dutch people I just don’t speak the language and it’s annoying.

I think dutch government created an instance to host their accounts recently. You may be seen that content.

AFAIK, it's a Mastodon instance, not Lemmy.

Let me tell you my favorite feature on Apollo. “Filter Subreddit”. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen the same article from a different news/world news/etc instance(? Sorry, not up with the vernacular yet) just blanketing my home page.

Sorry if you are annoyed by lemy.nl. The post frequency will be much lower from now on, since it needed to catch up with news from the past weeks.

However, if you select your preferred language in your profile settings, you should not see posts in other languages at all?

You just have to block the lemy.nl instance.
