He's confounding different things here. Calling for revolt, calling for property destruction, hateful content, and calling for killing are not the same degree of thing. Lumping all these things together is harmful to democracy.

If pitchforks and guillotines are no-no then they at least need immediate direct elections, it's one or the other.

I would prefer social media shutdowns in general. Also riots.

People have forgotten how to organize without social media. Getting us used to planning our birthday parties through Facebook made us forget how to plan our riots.
