It's only fixed in the latest on GitHub v 0.0.34-alpha, which is not on the stores yet.
At the moment it seems to take me to the whole thread, not the individual comment within the thread. Is that the bug that's been fixed in the alpha?
When I followed the link for your reply, my comment you replied to was the top comment.

Just tapping on the message should do it, it is not intuitive to have such a small button for this
