For the record, isa lang "foreigner" sa moderators — the founder, on account that he's Caucasian. As much as I hate Cayetano, I'm going to die on a hill and insist that the kaldero price was justified if you look at the breakdown of costs. What happened to Killua was tragic. But as always the anger of the internets is misplaced bordering on elitist.

Mabait daw mga Golden Retriever and na-misinterpret nila yung pagiging playful ng dog to be aggression. You expect some rando in the province to be familiar with purebreds and their traits?? Not to mention that there are cases of GRs killing people or viciously attacking other dogs. I've personally seen ours do it, and it's frightening.

Instead, reality is much simpler. May higanteng aso na nandadamba at ang ligalig. Nangagat pa nga raw. It's not far-fetched for them to assume na it's a rabid dog that's a danger to people. Hahabulin talaga yan ng taong bayan at papatayin without waiting for the authorities (tanod daw yung pumatay which is the closest thing to an authority figure in that situation). Porcupine nga pauulanan ng quills or pusa mangangalmot kahit gano pa kabait intention ng aso e, tao pa kaya na walang idea.

In all cases na napapatay aso na may breed, lagi na lang yung pobreng magbabakal o si manong sabungero may kasalanan. Hindi yung may-ari na nagkulang sa pag-ensure na fenced in yung alaga nila. Sure it's not good to kick people when they're down, but it's the harsh truth.

Magaling pala itong si Leylah Fernandez. Usually when Filipinos hype "one of their own" it's fueled by pinoy pride dick-riding, but she's really really good. Not sure lang ano sya sa rankings or if she won any grand slams... but purely on eye-test, it's top-tier modern day tennis. Masarap panoorin regardless what her lineage is.

Edit: Siya pala yung hina-hype na kalaban ni Raducanu sa Wimbledon Finals a few years ago. Raducanu has struggled since then (no. 288!) while Fernandez is currently 35th.
