Are there any skateboarding instances on Lemmy?

I just had a look at the community browser and searched for "Skateboard" for you. Looks like there's one community here, but it was made and abandoned 2 days ago by someone who's literally not made a single post or comment.

If you're willing to moderate it and post a bit in it, considered starting one yourself?

you can create a skateboarding community yourself pretty easily! i'd be interested in subscribing since i used to skate a lot when i was younger. these days i just longboard but still like to keep up now and then!

So far I haven’t found one either. Tbh I’m missing the content from „Old Skateboarders“ and „Beginner Skateboarders“ from Redd*t. I would assume that a vast majority of the users from there are not that tech- or data-aware to land here. Plus those subs did not take part in the Moderator strikes afaik. 🛹
