Yeah, it was in the news, but considerably less attention was paid to this event where hundreds died compared to a few rich people who spent exorbitant amounts of money to look at a shipwreck on a TV screen in an unsafe submersible.

A pretty dismal reflection on our societal values.

If predictions about the impacts of climate change are correct, this is just the beginning.

We should all think about how close we are to being a refugee. Maybe a wildfire, a flood, a drought, a disease, a sudden war. Don't feel guilt for not caring enough about others, feel empathy because this could happen to any of us. And treat others accordingly

( and maybe think about eating the rich )
