I was packing some thing recently and came across a bunch of old X-Men and Iron Man comics from the same timeframe. Immediately plunged into nostalgia flipping through them; the art style, the paper feel, the old D&D, Sega Genesis, etc. ads in them. I know my collection is worth something but my kids are gonna have to sell them because they're like a portal to being 12 years old again.
Comic Books
A place to discuss comic books of all types, from old to new, Big 2 to indie, and everything in between.
Floppies, graphic novels, compilations, omnibusses (omnibusi?) are all fair game.
There is only one rule:*
Comic Books is a no judgement zone.
You can talk all you want about how Rob Liefeld is trash, Bob Kane is an asshole, or Frank Miller and Dave Sim’s politics have made them toxic, that’s all good.
If, however, another user is LEGITIMATELY a fan of something you don’t like, that does NOT make them a lesser person. Attack the art for being bad, not the person for being a fan of bad art.
* I lied. There are TWO rules... No piracy. Cover shots? That's good. Interior pages, in moderation? Sure. Full books? Links to pirate sites? That's how we get things shut down. :(
I'm not saying it's been a problem, because it hasn't been.

Mine was an old Archie Sonic comic. It was about time travel, and the entire thing was written backwards (you had to read it in a mirror). The 90s were wild, man.
Nice. I want to get into the Sonic comics. I have so much nostalgia for Sega CD and that whole era of gaming.
One of my first consoles was a Genesis (might be aging myself a bit there), and Sonic was a big part of that experience. That said, I really only had that one Sonic comic. The fan base sort of turned me off the series. They're a little...intense, no offense to any currently reading.
Of course, I also hear the lore goes HARD, so it'll always be a little tempting.
This was my first comic. Got it back in 1985 when I was 7. I must have read that thing 50 times.
