I'm sorry, but what did you expect? You can't possibly think people that were massive fans of your Metroidvania game were going to suddenly love your city builder.

It'd be like if Call of Duty decided to build a Tower Defense game.

I would definitely play that if it is even a half decent game.

They expanded too much in the last years and made terrible management decisions at Thunderful and now blame it on "underperforming games" that had the audacity to not save their ass from these bad decisions.

It is the same with so many of these stories: "We made mistakes and are fine with studios and people working for us to pay the price."
