That looks really great. Did you order a sheet and cut the entire thing yourself?

Close, I cut it from an acrylic clipboard
i have thought about doing that before! how did the thickness work out?
Thickness of this one is about perfect. I have done one other from a different clipboard and it's a little thicker than I like.
Looks really well made
- me, 2023, a noob when it comes to guitars so i cant really decide what is good or bad
Yo great work that’s beautiful
Oh wow that looks great! Love the contrast between the black of the body and the pink of the flowers. Also I love the irony of playing heavy fucking metal out of a Telecaster shaped body.
Thanks!

tbf this is what it looked like when I got it, very much a metal Tele.
the pickguard really defines the personality of the guitar so much, this feels like a completely different instrument.
Awesome! I want a tele style guitar real bad.
And I thought I didnt liked pickguards.
It looks great, the whole guitar looks beautifull!
build one! it’s a blast!
I like prints of pickguards way better than prints on the body itself, always looks like a window to another realm. Really looks great!
This just makes me want to bust into Gojira riffs. Top stuff.
excellent! did you build the guitar yourself? either way, would love to know the woods!
I did not build the guitar, I just modified it. Body is ash, neck is roasted maple.
nice. i bet the body weighs a good bit unless there’s some relief in there!
always a fan of zero inlay necks, they look so clean. the white on maple really works for me
The pickguard isn't actually covering up any electronics cavities, but some of them do have weight relief cavities under the pickguard. Mine is solid though, about 8lbs iirc
Looks amazing! Any tips on how to cut plastic so that it looks as professional as yours does?
Thanks! Honestly the only real tip I have is that it's almost hard to mess it up if you have a router table at your disposal. I wouldn't feel confident making a pickguard with anything else really.
That is so so awesome. I had a seafoam green bass that I was going to paint flowers on the pickguard. This makes me wish I had actually done it.
