Took me a while to get, too.
The headline reads “Employee of the Moth.” It’s a moth selecting its favorite employees.
OMG, I thought it was a fly and missed the word moth! Lol
This is important for the moth because he can't give verbal praise.
I loved how you played with my preconceived idea of the "employee of the month". Then guided me to observe the cartoon and find my own mistaken reading. This was a very interesting construction of a pun. Great work @CustardFist.
Subverting expectations. I learned that from Rian Johnson. ☝️😁
Just please don't go nuts with the principle. Subverting expectations as in Game of Thrones seasons 7-8 or The Last of Us Part II is a whole different story.
