You can only attach a single image to the post, buuuuut with the image icon below the text input field you can add images inline! Try it out, use the preview button to see if it is formatted the way you want etc!

Yeah I've seen people make sort of ad-hoc "galleries" by adding a lot of images in the text of a post or in a comment. It's a little hacky but not actually that terrible.
